Like I said earlier, it's part of the script. You can't prove it triggers unless no one says THAT word and that NPC stopped saying things like that. Common Sense.

I've been hit by Kimberly and she said 'That's for saying I throw like a girl' before, when I never typed a single thing in to any chat. It's scripted, it doesn't react to what you type.

Default Question for the masses

So, How many people have already thought about this and are hording candy canes like there is no tomorrow? Since Candy canes remove DP no matter how much you have accured. (I have tested this). How valuable are they to the farmers of FOW and such??? or the people trying to do the Thunder head keep mission??? hmmm.....

Default Candy Canes

Those candy canes (whole ones - not shards) are going to be worth buku gold once this is all over (if they don't disappear).

My wife just tried one and it does indeed remove *all* death penalty. Very nice thing to have on long quests like Galrath.

I hunt gargoyles outside the courthouse. Gargoyle skulls trade 1 skull for one cane. There are also many char in the area and you can even head over to the Flame Temple for more carvings. This run is quite proffitable. I can usually net enough items to get 30 - 40 canes in under an hour.

Default farm for collector items to get Candy canes

I do the Northern wall mission solo with my Elemetalist. I even take out the Charr at the end to get extra Charr carvings and the run only takes 12 minutes. I make about 2-3k and have enough tradeables for about 50 candy canes after 6-8 runs. Oh and no i do not run to the end I just let it time out.

Although I haven't caught it either, the Dwayna Carolers do the same thing. I wish ArenaNet made them sing more, and faster...

Which is an easier alternative to capping it in Dragon's Lair.

Shouldn't we be hearing from the Koreans about the Wintersday stuff? Or do you think that it will hit the Korean servers tomorrow?

You can still cap it from Mragga at the end of the second attribute quest, which is actually reached more easily - assuming you have Copperhammer Mines and can find somebody who wants help with it.

Its winters day and nada so far.. Except that the crier that was counting down to wintersday is gone, as well as the avatars of grenth and dwayna in LA. I wonder when they plan to do the event. The general assumption is hourly like halloween, naturally..
